Can I register my children in a camp that is not their age so that they can be with their friends or siblings?

Last Updated: Nov. 5, 2012

Our preference is no. The times we have tried this, it didn’t seem to work well. It can be emotionally stressful for your child to be in with campers that are 2-3 years older or younger. Please place your child in the camp that is appropriate for their age. The convenience of placing your child with his/her siblings or older/younger friends is not worth the problems it will likely cause for them or for the camp program.
