Finances, Fees & Scholarships
Last Updated: Nov. 6, 2017
In an effort to keep camp affordable, we still only have three activities with extra fees. Advanced Watersports offers longer training time with limited numbers in a boat for two hours ($50 fee). Jet Skiing gives you time to learn balance and use a stand up ski ($30 fee). The extra fee for Model Rocketry will cover the materials used ($20 fee). We have tried to limit the cost by only raising fees this year by $10 in spite of the increased costs of fuel and food.
|The basic fee for all camps||$440|
|Idaho Conference SDA Constituents||$390 (these people help fund the camp throughout the year)|
Additional options which include a fee are:
|Bus Transportation||$25 each way|
|Camp Video||$20 ($15 if purchased online)|
|Late Cancellation Fee||$100|
|Shipping & Handling||$5–15|
If you are interested in a scholarship to help with your child’s reservation fee, first you will need to make a reservation and pay a minimum deposit ($50), and then we will assess the funds available. Last year, thanks to many of you, we had enough funds available and were able to offer some half scholarships to those who expressed a need for them. You should also check with your local churches as they may have funds available for such things. We want to give a big thank you to the many people who took the time to make an online gift to the scholarship fund.
If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us as soon as possible to make your request. We will begin transferring funds to those who have requested this in mid-June. If your child is being sponsored by your church, please make sure that information (camper name, church, sponsored amount) has been communicated to us by your church leader BEFORE you arrive at camp. This helps us avoid any confusion at registration.
We want to thank those of you who have been prompt with paying your balance. This really helps our camp ministry to run smoothly. If you have not paid your balance for this season’s reservation(s), please do so as soon as possible. You can pay online with a credit card or e-check when you click on “Make a Payment” on your account, or you can call us to let us know you will be bringing a check or cash with you on Sunday at registration or check-out time.
If your child is riding the bus and carries a balance on his or her account, please plan to bring exact change to pay the bus driver.
Camp Ida-Haven has been, is now and should continue to be a heavenly place where the Idaho Conference of Seventh-day Adventist members of all ages may find physical, mental, social and spiritual refreshment, direction and fellowship.
Memories of Ida-Haven have eternal influence that provide lasting joy. Other Christian groups who use Ida-Haven learn of and appreciate Seventh-day Adventist values regardless of race, religion, color, sex, disability or national origin.
